This is not your typical public library. This is actually a “reading room” where children can enter a safe, clean environment and interact with books. The books are sorted into reading levels to help children pick books they can actually read, and prayerfully, inspire them to improve their skills. Children will come to the library on a certain day of the week, based on age/height, to give a club feel. Each week the children will read books, be read to, and hear a Bible story. Eventually the children will hear the whole story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Children will be encouraged to memorize verses each week, and small prizes will be given for those who do! During school breaks more elaborate programs will take place which involve reading, comprehension reviews, and prizes in the form of school supplies.
